Situation BEFORE Aerovit Installation
In 2011, Vattenfall Vänersborg installed 2 pcs of 15MW boilers (bio-oil) supplied by Compab in cooperation with Robert Bosch A/S.
During the heating season December-March the boilers needed to be cleaned manually 3 times. Meaning a 2-days shutdown every time.
Vattenfall wanted to eliminate the manual cleanings during the heating season and therefore they requested the AEROVIT system.
Situation BEFORE Aerovit Installation

Situation AFTER Aerovit installation
AEROVIT was installed in October 2013 on one of the boilers. After the first heating season, the results were beyond their acceptances and the second boiler is now being equipped with AEROVIT for the next heating season 2014.
This is the result from the first boiler:
- No manually cleanings during the heating season
- Increased efficiency of the boiler from 85% to 93%
- Earned savings on approx. 110.000€/year
Situation AFTER Aerovit installation
AEROVIT was installed in October 2013 on one of the boilers. After the first heating season, the results were beyond their acceptances and the second boiler is now being equipped with AEROVIT for the next heating season 2014.
This is the result from the first boiler:
- No manually cleanings during the heating season
- Increased efficiency of the boiler from 85% to 93%
- Earned savings on approx. 110.000€/year
